Solo Guitar Arrangement for E Blues
Here is a simple solo guitar arrangement for a blues in E that uses chords with a simple moving melody and riffs in a call-and-response fashion which is a trademark of the blues style. The chords are the “call” and the riffs are the response. This creates two patterns: one for the chords and another for the riff. Repetition is an important part of the blues formula. The hardest part of this solo guitar arrangement is the last 4 measures. Try to lead smoothly from chords to melody lines and back and play with good rhythmic feel.
